About the Eastman Selects

The Eastman Selects Female U15 program is a high-performance program for 13 and 14 year-old players looking to train, develop, and compete with and against players at an advanced level.  The program is designed to offer a full complement of on- and off-ice skill development, along with a rigorous strength and conditioning program, in an effort to prepare players for play at the 'next' level.

The team is hosted out of Niverville and calls the Niverville Community Resource and Recreation Centre home for its third season.  The Selects play in the Manitoba Female U15 Hockey League (MFHL) that consists of the seven (7) regional programs in the province.  The league will hold a 30-game regular season and a playoff season starting at the beginning of March.  Additionally, the team competes in two (2) Hockey Manitoba showcases along with 1 - 2 out-of-province tournaments over the course of the season.

The program captured consecutive Provincial championships in 2016 and 2017 (also won the City Championship in '17) while adding a Bronze medal in the 2018 and 2022 Provincials.

The 2023 - 24 roster returns six (6) members from last year's team and welcomes 11 new players.  In addition, Trevor Hildebrand returns as the Head Coach to mark his sixth season with the U15 Female program.  Joining him on the bench is Alex Haas (Lorette, MB) and Jason Remillard (St Malo, MB) while the team welcomes Roger Storoschuk as the team's goaltending coach.
